Ms. Ashita Mittal, Regional Representative to United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Regional Office for Central Asia (UNODC ROCA), based in Tashkent since 2014.

Ms. Mittal has over 35 years of international development experience a focus on counter-narcotics and crime prevention, fostering regional cooperation, promoting gender equality, sustainable development and rule of law. She has been with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime since 1995, including her experience as the Deputy Representative for the UNODC Country Office in Afghanistan and Regional Office for South Asia. She also worked on food security with the World Food Programme in India.
